The checker never leaves your browser. This page says what the site does with information, including the one case where a message is sent.
What stays on your device
Contractor labels, amounts, and yes or no answers live in memory until you close or reload the tab. The site does not use cookies and does not save data in the browser. It does not run analytics. Calendar files are built on your device and downloaded by your browser.
What you should not type
Do not enter a Social Security number, an EIN, a bank account, or a full legal name of a payee. The label field is for a nickname such as “designer.” A W-9 belongs in your own records, not in this checker.
Contact form
If you use the contact form, the name, email address, and message you type are sent to Web3Forms at api.web3forms.com so the message can be delivered. That request happens only when you press Send. 1099-NEC Filing does not run a server that stores the message. Web3Forms processes it under its own terms. If you do not want that, do not send the form.
Affiliate slots
The Tax1099 and TaxBandits slots are empty. No affiliate request runs on page load. A link would be a normal click to an https address, only after a URL is added and ads are enabled in the config file.
