Advertising disclosure
October 17, 2026
This site may, later, carry affiliate links to 1099 filing software. None are active today.
How a link is allowed to appear
Two slots exist, named tax1099 and taxbandits. Both are empty strings, and ads are disabled. A slot is shown only when ads are enabled and the value is an https URL. The anchor then uses rel="sponsored nofollow noopener", opens in a new tab, and is marked Ad. The Ad notice next to those links is hidden while the slots are empty.
What is not claimed
- No commission rate is stated. Affiliate program terms were not verified.
- No savings, ranking, or “IRS-approved software” claim is made.
- IRIS, the IRS Taxpayer Portal, is described as free because the IRS page says so. It is not an affiliate offer.
- This site does not buy pay-per-click advertising.
- The checker and the calendar contain no affiliate link and no product pitch.
Editorial pages
Guides cite IRS pages. A mention of a form or a vendor is not a recommendation. The filing guide is the only page with affiliate slots, and those slots are hidden until filled.
